Papa, you're trying to fool me. Do you really think I look like Cindy Lou Who? I have two pony tails now, but when I get bigger and my hair grows longer Mommy says I should be able to have one really big pony tail at the back of my head. You know, I'll be three years old on February 21st! Maybe by then, please?

After Christmas, you know, when all the presents have been opened, and you realize there are no more surprises coming, that's when you have to figure out what to play with. Sometimes you have to figure out how to play with something. Sometimes you even have to figure out what the heck something is!

No, I'm not mad at you. I'm showing you my impression of how the Wicked Stepmother of Cinderella looks to me. I don't like her or Cinderella's ugly stepsisters either. They treat Cinderella terribly. I love the ending when the handsome Prince finally finds that Cinderella's foot is the only one that fits the glass slipper she left behind at the ball. How could Cinderella's father marry anyone with a face like this?

Hee, hee. This is our cat, Colby. He is so lovable and friendly. Daddy says he tolerates Blake and me for quite a while before he has to just get up and walk away. He smiles like this sometimes, but only when he wants to. Mommy says he's like a Cheshire cat that way. I don't know what that means, but we're lucky to have such a nice pet.

Happy New Year everybody! Didn't we paint the town, huh? Well, our faces at least. I got this gift from my friend Brian. It's a face painting set. Daddy helped me learn to use it. Blake was my first, vict.., er, subject. Now we're ready to party!

"...Faa, laa, laa, laa..." Boy I had a really terrific Christmas. I hope you did, too. I got to see lots of people, eat lots of food and open lots of presents. I helped Blake open his, too. It was his birthday on the same day as Baby Jesus. That makes it easy to remember.

Wow! We got lots of snow this year! We will definitely be having a White Christmas at our house. We've told Santa what we want, or at least I did. Blake doesn't speak to grown-ups yet, so I whispered it to Santa for him. I didn't think of it, but it looks like we should have asked for a bigger sled, huh?

We drove to Santa's Workshop in a snow storm! I never would have found it alone. Then Daddy took this picture of Mommy, Blake and me with the snow falling so everyone would know we made it. Apparently Santa and the elves were at their workshop Christmas Party because all they left behind were these inflatable dolls, of themselves, of course!

We all went to the Santa parade last Saturday night. It was very cold, but Daddy didn't have to be in the parade this year so he held me up so I could see all the bands, floats, horses, beauty queens, the Grinch and best of all, Santa himself with his reindeer and sleigh.
