Happy New Year everybody! Didn't we paint the town, huh? Well, our faces at least. I got this gift from my friend Brian. It's a face painting set. Daddy helped me learn to use it. Blake was my first, vict.., er, subject. Now we're ready to party!

Here I am being nice, not naughty, just before Santa comes to visit. I've been practicing my "innocent child" look and I think I've got it down nearly perfect. Don't you agree?

"...Faa, laa, laa, laa..." Boy I had a really terrific Christmas. I hope you did, too. I got to see lots of people, eat lots of food and open lots of presents. I helped Blake open his, too. It was his birthday on the same day as Baby Jesus. That makes it easy to remember.

Mmm! Read my lips. I love making gingerbread cookies with Daddy. But my favorite part is the icing. I know the color doesn't look appealing, but it tastes so much better than it looks.

Daddy taught me how to make gingerbread men. And gingerbread Christmas trees, too! We had a bunch of fun. I liked decorating them with colored icing. Plus I got to eat all the mistakes. Boy am I full!

Wow! We got lots of snow this year! We will definitely be having a White Christmas at our house. We've told Santa what we want, or at least I did. Blake doesn't speak to grown-ups yet, so I whispered it to Santa for him. I didn't think of it, but it looks like we should have asked for a bigger sled, huh?

We drove to Santa's Workshop in a snow storm! I never would have found it alone. Then Daddy took this picture of Mommy, Blake and me with the snow falling so everyone would know we made it. Apparently Santa and the elves were at their workshop Christmas Party because all they left behind were these inflatable dolls, of themselves, of course!

I've used a few slides in my day, but this new one at the new playground is definitely not the smoothest ride I've ever had.

We all went to the Santa parade last Saturday night. It was very cold, but Daddy didn't have to be in the parade this year so he held me up so I could see all the bands, floats, horses, beauty queens, the Grinch and best of all, Santa himself with his reindeer and sleigh.

Wow! Wearing Dorothy's magical red shoes really helps my dancing. I just can't help myself. When the music starts, I get up and get down. Whatever that means!

Grandma Diane took my picture while I was having a thoughtful moment. I was watching Papa holding Blake and just making sure that everything was okay.

Look at what I can do! I've mastered the riding of this three wheeler. Now I'm doing tricks on it. Where's the challenge? Give this one to Blake. I want a two wheeler! Mom, send a text message to Santa for me, will ya?

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! We're thankful that this carton we're sitting in is only a plaything for us. Mommy says some people actually live in these! We hope you never have to experience that. Have a safe, warm, peaceful, and Happy Thanksgiving.

What? Who's coming? Sue and who? I can't hear you, Mommy. One last day at the beach for this year. Can't wait for global warming so we can go to the beach all year long!

This is probably the last Halloween picture I'll show this year. It's my friend Kaden and myself checking out our treats before continuing on through our neighborhood. Kaden's Mom has a special treat in store for him soon. A new baby is going to be delivered to them in the near future. I'm gonna keep watch for any strange storks in our neighborhood so I'll be one of the first to know.

The four of us are riding on the hay wagon to the pumpkin patch. Terri-Lynn, Blake, Dakota and myself. I think the other folks here just transferred to this hay wagon from the turnip truck ride.

Here we are having breakfast at Dakota's house. Blake, Mommy and I went there for the long weekend and had lots of fun visiting, shopping, and going to farmer's markets.

Wheeeee! I told Mommy I wanted to go down this slide by myself. It was so high once we climbed up there, and even though it looked a little scary, it was wicked fun sliding down!

Aw, gee, go on! I've never worn a tutu before and it feels kind of funny. Especially on my legs. Do I have to stand up for you to take the picture? Really? Just take it now while I'm sitting, please?

Okay, Blake. Here's the thing. You whistle, I'll sing, and together with your getup as a fire fighter and mine as Cinderella, we can't miss getting a ton of treats, right?

Giddyup! My whole life I've wanted a horse. Yup! My whole life. Somehow this one seems so much bigger than the ones I thought about and saw in pictures and books. Still, it's a beautiful horse. Now, if it could only shrink down to more my size, it would be perfect.

Think Pink! What a cool hat, huh? Dakota and her Mommy, Terry-Lynn, let me try this on. I'm a natural for it, right? Suits me to a tiara!

I'm swimmin' with an octopus! Well, I'm playing at it at least, here in the mall. Nana brought me here so we could shop, but these neat toys aren't for sale. I guess I'm happy they let me play with them while we're here anyway.

I love the autumn leaves! When they fall I just can't help myself. I pick them up, toss them around, roll in them, and cover myself up with them! It's such a beautiful time of year. And the cool, crisp air is so invigorating. Apples, pumpkins, fairs, harvest festivals, hay rides and then it's all capped off with Halloween! Tricks, treats, goblins, ghosts, witches, hot chocolate. Geez! What's not to like, ya know? It's wicked hard to find anything bad about "October's bright blue weather."
