Mommy took this picture of my friend Dakota and me. Mommy and I were visiting and Dakota shared some of her books and toys with me. She's so much older so I try to learn from her. Dakota's Mommy, Terri-Lynn, and my Mommy have been friends since before either one of us were born. You know, way back in the last century.

Oops! Grandma Diane caught me on camera! Now you know. I discovered that the Oreo cookie eating technique can be applied to other sandwich style cookies as well. And it makes no difference if it's cream filled, or peanut butter, or anything else for that matter. Let's keep this between you and me, okay?

I've learned the proper etiquette for eating an Oreo cookie. Papa snapped this right while I was in the middle of eating. He could have at least waited until I was finished and had the chance to clean up and check my makeup! Remove the evidence, so to speak.

Nana Jan posed me on this rock at the party after my cousin Matthew's christening. If you look closely you can see the bandaid on my right knee covering my boo-boo. Other than that, I think I look relatively unscathed, if I do say so myself.

Papa took this picture just as I was trying to explain how big the wolves are to someone my size. I had my arms outstretched and still couldn't measure up to them. I wish he'd let me compose myself before he released the shutter, sometimes. Daddy had a good grip on me so I couldn't get too close to the wolves.

Papa was trying to make me smile so he could take my picture. Mommy got the message. Daddy was in the background reading about the wolves we were visiting at Wolf Hollow in Ipswich, Massachusetts. It was breezy there and my hair just wouldn't stay still. Come to think of it, neither did I.

Mommy's holding Preston and Naomi's holding me while Daddy takes our picture with Naomi's camera. This was one of the entire eight seconds Preston and I sat still while they visited us from their home in Florida. Mommy says she and Naomi have been friends since the past century. How old are they, anyway?

Mommy's friend Naomi was visiting with her son Preston and we went to visit Daddy's fire station. Preston and I got to sit on Engine Number 4 while Naomi took our picture. Luckily they didn't have an alarm or the siren would have deafened us!

Nana Jan took this picture of Noah, me, and Chloe enjoying pizza at a concert on the waterfront during Newburyport's Yankee Homecoming. Noah and Chloe are Mommy's friends Carla and Mike's kids. Guess what? They live on an island! Yup. Martha's Vineyard. I love the beach, but I don't think I'm old enough to swim that far yet!

Kim snapped this shot of me recovering from the contusions and abrasions to my exterior dextera patellar area after the horrendous crash shown in the last posting. You can see the bandaging required to aid my recuperation while elevating my traumatized limb. I prefer to simply refer to it as my "boo-boo." Maeve was totally without injury as so often happens in these accidents. We, the elders, suffer the most from the consequences of young and reckless drivers taking wild chances because of their lack of fear and feelings of invincibility. I should make a complete recovery, thanks to Kim's quick triage action and subsequent care.

This photo was taken by Kim just prior to the crash! I kept telling Maeve to keep both hands on the wheel, but would she listen? Oh no. Always the thrill seeker, laughing, taking her hands off the wheel, driving too fast. What could I do? The controls on my side of the car were disabled. I braced myself for the impact. Far behind us, Abby looks on helplessly. Stay tuned!

The three amigos, Lucas, Gracie and Maeve, swinging happily in Kim's play yard. Look closely in the background behind Lucas and you'll see Abby wishing she could join us on the swings. Silly puppy! She has too many legs for these swings! Photo by Kim.
