Mommy, can Blake and I go in and pet the deer? Can we ride them? Do they bite? Where are their antlers? What do they eat? How old are they? Do they ever let them out? Where did they come from? Are they the same as the ones in our back yard at home?  Mommy?

Here I am eagerly waiting for Bonnie to begin to do my first manicure. Nana took us all to visit her friend Bonnie's beauty salon in Needham. It was fun and my nails look beautiful!

I'm showing my little brother, Blake, how to operate this Bob the Builder digger ride here at Chuck E. Cheese's place. Blake's only half my age, and I go to school, so I have to be the one to help show him how to do all these things, you know!

Blake and I were at Chuck E. Cheese's with Nana, Grandma and Papa and see who came over to see me! Chuck E. Cheese, himself! We hugged, but I think he's bashful. He never said a word to anyone!

I'm listening in partial disbelief about how I'm supposed to make my own Play-Doh. Make my own? Why? Are we importing contaminated Play-Doh so now I have to make my own? Have they suspended all the child labor laws? Will I have to make my own dirt next? What kind of birthday party is this? I'm four now, so I have to think about all these things.  Can't we just play musical chairs?

Here I'm helping Blake blow out the candle on his Santa Birthday Cake. He's only two, you know! By the way. I personally decorated the cake especially for him. Too bad you can't get a much better look at it. I found it devastatingly lovely, even if I do say so, myself.

Nana took Blake and me to lunch at McDonald's and we ran into Joey, one of my classmates at school. Nana took our picture.

Daddy took this picture with his cell phone. He calls it "Goofy Girl." I think it's because Blake and I were "goofing around" when he shot it, and because of the distortion the cell phone camera causes.

I can still hold my little brother, Blake, but he is getting so much bigger I don't know how long I'll be able to continue. I guess I can hold him forever in my heart though.

Mommy, Blake, Grammy Sue and me. We are on the Polar Express train riding to see Santa, his North Pole home and workshop along with the elves and reindeer. We sang the same songs as in the movie and got our very own sleigh bells, too.

Here I am at Boston's North Station waiting for the train to take us home. I'm giving my Build-A-Bunny, Caroline, a ride on my shoulders. We went in to Boston to see the ballet, "The Nutcracker." It was magical. I take ballet lessons, but I probably won't be ready to dance in the Nutcracker until a few more lessons, I think.

Happy New Year, everyone. I'm modeling one of my new dress up outfits I got for Christmas. It's a whole trunk of play outfits I can use to play in. Stretch your imagination, too. It's fun.

Wow! We opened lots of our presents on Christmas Eve and found an amazing assortment of gifts. Clothes, toys, dress up fantasy outfits, neck warmers, I can't count them all! And that was before Santa arrived! Thank you, everybody, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I hope you had a Very Merry Christmas. Do I look like I did? Yes, for the most part. We were lucky to be spending the day with people who had heat and lights and water at their homes. We didn't at ours. Unitil, once again, could not provide a quick restoration of lost electric service. So we had a White Christmas during the day, and a Black Christmas once the sun went down. I hope yours was better.
