Gee, every time I start to run away some big person catches me and brings me back. Here's Grandpa Dave after just catching me. It's not fair. He runs much more than I do and catches me easily. Think I'm enjoying this? Mommy took me to a park nearby and I learned there are all kinds of neat things to play with, and on, that I've never seen before. Here I am on my first day learning to eat with a spoon instead of my fingers. Mommy says eating with my fingers is very messy. Using a spoon is so much neater and more socially acceptable. I've noticed that I do eat less when I eat with a spoon, which should help me maintain my figure as I age. Give it a try if you'd like to lose a few pounds. Just another tip from Gracie. Ha, ha, I can stand up in my wagon. Mommy says I have to sit down if I want anyone to pull me around in it though. I have lots of room for stuffed animals, toys or other riders and I do love to go fast! Now that the weather's nicer I'll have to line up a bunch of volunteers to pull me. So far, that's not been a problem. Let's see. Who's the fastest?

Look at my new hat box! Of course, I don't keep any hats in it, silly. Toys, stuffed animals, kerchiefs, and anything else I can pick up I put in it. Then I carry it somewhere and empty it out. Mommy caught me with her camera just as I was about to enter the kitchen and begin the emptying out process. Oh, well. Better luck next time.

Mommy photographed me in my new watermelon sweater and hat. They were hand made for me by a friend of Nana Jan. I've been told this makes me look a bit older and more sophisticated. It's just the effect I was after. Can't be too careful at my age, you know.
