Here I am on my first day learning to eat with a spoon instead of my fingers. Mommy says eating with my fingers is very messy. Using a spoon is so much neater and more socially acceptable. I've noticed that I do eat less when I eat with a spoon, which should help me maintain my figure as I age. Give it a try if you'd like to lose a few pounds. Just another tip from Gracie. Ha, ha, I can stand up in my wagon. Mommy says I have to sit down if I want anyone to pull me around in it though. I have lots of room for stuffed animals, toys or other riders and I do love to go fast! Now that the weather's nicer I'll have to line up a bunch of volunteers to pull me. So far, that's not been a problem. Let's see. Who's the fastest?

Look at my new hat box! Of course, I don't keep any hats in it, silly. Toys, stuffed animals, kerchiefs, and anything else I can pick up I put in it. Then I carry it somewhere and empty it out. Mommy caught me with her camera just as I was about to enter the kitchen and begin the emptying out process. Oh, well. Better luck next time.

After a long day touring Washington, I bathed and then thought I'd write a few postcards to friends and family. My nice warm blanket convinced me I needed a few winks so my blog site will have to serve as my postcards to everyone. I can't even remember who took the picture, Mommy or Daddy.

Mommy took this picture of Daddy and me in front of our hotel in Washington, DC before we set off for our day of sightseeing. Seems like we walked for miles and miles, but saw all kinds of important government buildings and the blossoming cherry trees. We also visited museums. But the best thing for me to see here was Daddy. I miss him when he's away for emergency response training.

Daddy took our picture in front of our nation's Capitol building. He's training with FEMA and we joined him for the weekend. It's Cherry Blossom Festival Week so it was very busy. I was very good for Mommy on our airplane flight down and back. We had fun.
