Look what Santa brought me for Christmas! A new baby brother! His name is Blake Thomas and he was born on Christmas Day! Daddy brought me to the hospital to see Mommy and she let me hold him. Boy, he weighs twice what I did when I was born! Mommy says he was the only baby born in the hospital on Christmas! I don't think I'm supposed to unwrap him, but I'll keep him anyway.

Look at all the presents! And Santa hasn't even come yet! I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and hope you all can share the joy of family gatherings. Mommy says there is one more precious gift coming to our family, but it won't be here until early next month. That's great! Another surprise to enjoy!

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm wearing one of my new Christmas dresses and can hardly stand still waiting for Santa Claus to come. Even if he comes to your house first it's okay. Mommy told me he manages to visit everyone before Christmas Eve turns into Christmas Day. Hope all your Christmas wishes come true.

Listen to me, people. Cherish your privacy! I try to compensate by wearing rose colored glasses, but still the paparazzi relentlessly snap away. No matter where I go, what I wear, or how I try to seclude myself, they manage to find me and take my picture. And now, even my Mommy has done so!

Aaah! After a strenuous day of Christmas shopping, then helping Mommy clean house and prepare dinner, I like to unwind by slipping into my decor coordinated lounging pajamas, select an appropriate dolly to cuddle, settle back into my favorite easy chair, toss on a satin lap robe, and contemplate my day. Ciao.

Here I am about a month ago with my cousin Camille at her house. We had fun playing with Play Doh but Mommy snapped this picture while I was taking a break and eating an apple. Trust me. It tastes way better than Play Doh. Not sure about fiber content, though.

Grammy Sue wanted me to try on her hat so she could take a Halloween picture. It's a little distracting with the bats flying around it and I'm not sure whether it's safe to wear this or not, but everyone was laughing so I guess it's okay. What do you think?

I know you'll never recognize us in our Halloween costumes, so I'll tell you that's Kaden on the left and me on the right. He's only pretending to be Curious George and I can't actually fly, but I feel like a butterfly. We're both looking at the treats we're about to get so that we don't pull any tricks on this special night. We had lots of fun fooling the neighbors. Photo by Mommy.

Daddy asked me if I enjoyed Trick or Treating in my Halloween Costume. I believe I answered in the affirmative, accompanied by an appropriate expression of the sentiment. Papa snapped my picture in my butterfly outfit at that precise moment. The star sticker on my cheek was added by me so I'd stand out from any other butterflies in the neighborhood. Nice touch, eh?

That's me in the middle. The one NOT traveling incognito by farm tractor! Everyone else is apparently concealing their identity from the authorities. Time to 'fess up. Grammy Sue, Mommy, yours truly, Daddy, and Grandpa Dave were all visiting Charminge Faire Farme (add or subtract any "e's" you want). We rode in a farm cart behind the tractor and got to enjoy the sights and smells of farming. The chain link fencing is to keep me from harming the animals, I think.

Here's my friend Kaden. We're playing in his sand box. Doesn't he have beautiful eyes? As you can see, it's not quite the same as playing in the sand at the beach in the summer. In fact, I noticed right away that there were no life guards present. Also it's very difficult to maintain a tan in this type of beach clothing. I wonder what the SPF rating is? Photo by Mommy.

Mommy took this picture of my friend Dakota and me. Mommy and I were visiting and Dakota shared some of her books and toys with me. She's so much older so I try to learn from her. Dakota's Mommy, Terri-Lynn, and my Mommy have been friends since before either one of us were born. You know, way back in the last century.

Oops! Grandma Diane caught me on camera! Now you know. I discovered that the Oreo cookie eating technique can be applied to other sandwich style cookies as well. And it makes no difference if it's cream filled, or peanut butter, or anything else for that matter. Let's keep this between you and me, okay?

I've learned the proper etiquette for eating an Oreo cookie. Papa snapped this right while I was in the middle of eating. He could have at least waited until I was finished and had the chance to clean up and check my makeup! Remove the evidence, so to speak.

Papa took this picture just as I was trying to explain how big the wolves are to someone my size. I had my arms outstretched and still couldn't measure up to them. I wish he'd let me compose myself before he released the shutter, sometimes. Daddy had a good grip on me so I couldn't get too close to the wolves.

Papa was trying to make me smile so he could take my picture. Mommy got the message. Daddy was in the background reading about the wolves we were visiting at Wolf Hollow in Ipswich, Massachusetts. It was breezy there and my hair just wouldn't stay still. Come to think of it, neither did I.

Mommy's holding Preston and Naomi's holding me while Daddy takes our picture with Naomi's camera. This was one of the entire eight seconds Preston and I sat still while they visited us from their home in Florida. Mommy says she and Naomi have been friends since the past century. How old are they, anyway?

Nana Jan took this picture of Noah, me, and Chloe enjoying pizza at a concert on the waterfront during Newburyport's Yankee Homecoming. Noah and Chloe are Mommy's friends Carla and Mike's kids. Guess what? They live on an island! Yup. Martha's Vineyard. I love the beach, but I don't think I'm old enough to swim that far yet!

Kim snapped this shot of me recovering from the contusions and abrasions to my exterior dextera patellar area after the horrendous crash shown in the last posting. You can see the bandaging required to aid my recuperation while elevating my traumatized limb. I prefer to simply refer to it as my "boo-boo." Maeve was totally without injury as so often happens in these accidents. We, the elders, suffer the most from the consequences of young and reckless drivers taking wild chances because of their lack of fear and feelings of invincibility. I should make a complete recovery, thanks to Kim's quick triage action and subsequent care.

This photo was taken by Kim just prior to the crash! I kept telling Maeve to keep both hands on the wheel, but would she listen? Oh no. Always the thrill seeker, laughing, taking her hands off the wheel, driving too fast. What could I do? The controls on my side of the car were disabled. I braced myself for the impact. Far behind us, Abby looks on helplessly. Stay tuned!

Here is my other playmate at Kim's, Lucas. When he was the "new kid on the block" we had a rocky start, but we're good friends now. He's like a younger brother to me (by only a few months) and we both watch over Maeve. Kim snapped our picture in the Animal Play Room.

Maeve and I just clowning around for Kim, our daycare provider, so she can get a picture of us. I got the boo-boo on my knee from extra-curricular activities. I love the colorful bandaids. Maeve and I have become really good friends during our time together at Kim's. We have lots of fun here.

Mommy's getting ready to turn me loose at the Relay for Life walk in Landry Stadium, Amesbury, for the American Cancer Society. She tells me Nana Jan and the Salisbury Garden Club participate and we do this to honor our relatives, friends and neighbors who have been, or presently are affected by this terrible illness.
